Kindergarten

A child’s first taste of education is Kindergarten, a welcoming and secure environment which accepts children from the age of 3. During these early years, they learn the rules of society and develop a liking for school life, building emotional and interrelation abilities as well as intellectual and physical skills.

The focus of the first two years is developing key fine motor skills, alternating the basics with manual and musical activities and play. In their final year of Kindergarten, children are introduced to reading and writing without screens to promote balanced brain development. They also begin exploring numbers and developing their language skills in a bilingual setting from 14ème, in preparation for primary school.

In a happy and stable environment, the children have exclusive use of a range of facilities including their own playground, sports area, quiet room for sleeping and a dining-room serving food freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen. Our catering team selects local, high-quality produce to create healthy, family-type meals. The friendly, caring atmosphere is the ideal start for young children’s education.

Considered as individuals, they grow into engaged and considerate pupils who apply our founders’ values of respect, mutual support and compassion.

Primary

Primary school gives pupils the academic foundation and social skills they need to flourish and adapt to our constantly changing world. In a multicultural and multilingual environment, our team of highly experienced teachers works with pupils throughout their 5 years in primary to provide them with a solid base.

As well as the traditional reading, writing and arithmetic, which we teach without screens to promote balanced brain development, children develop a range of transversal skills. Our pupils learn communication, collaboration, independence and creative thought, expanding their intellectual abilities and intelligence, to form students who are adaptable and capable of managing their learning.

Alongside the core curriculum, pupils are encouraged to discover their own tastes and interests. We offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, from fencing, basketball, drama or piano  to chess or coding. Many primary pupils also get involved in charity work, which we particularly encourage.

With a strong academic and personal foundation, and considered as individuals, our pupils prepare to move up to Cycle, applying our founders’ values of respect, mutual support and compassion.
