‘Encré’ dans la culture is back for its second year!
Buoyed by the success of our first season, we are delighted to announce the launch of our second edition on 21 September, with an eclectic programme of the highest standard: this year, we welcome Laure Marville as artist-in-residence, and will be hosting an evening of music by Ponticello, a chamber music recital by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, a contemporary dance performance by Ballet Junior and a musical piece by Théâtre Am Stram Gram – there’ll be something to suit all tastes and all ages.
We are looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming you in even greater numbers for our second edition!

25/05/24
A graduate of Geneva’s Haute école d’art et de design (HEAD), Laure Marville is taking up a residency at Institut Florimont and producing an exhibition with our own pupils in the second term of this school year.
Laure often uses linocut on fabric or paper to repeat designs that she cuts out and intersperses with fragments of text to form her compositions.
This event is free, but we kindly ask you to register for organisational purposes.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Launch Night of « Encré » dans la culture – Institut Florimont’s second cultural season – on 21 September.
Celebrating all forms of expression, ‘Encré’ dans la culture is a whole-school project that gives Florimont the freedom to write its own artistic story.
The Launch Night will be held at our campus from 6.30pm and will introduce the season and all contributors: music company Ponticello, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR), Théâtre Am Stram Gram, Ballet Junior and artist-in-residence Laure Marville will be presenting the programme of their events, and taking questions from our own budding journalists.
While the Launch Night of our second cultural season is a free event, we kindly ask you to register for organisational purposes.

Ponticello – Musical
11/10/23
Ponticello gives young competition winners trained in Switzerland the opportunity to perform alongside internationally-acclaimed artists who are active in the country’s French-speaking regions.
From Bach to Bernstein via Gershwin, the members of Rythm’cello – cellist Ophélie Gaillard, pianist François-Xavier Poizat, and tap dancers Daniel Leveillé and Maria Busquets – go on a journey together: exploring the diversity and rhythmical depth of high-energy and more relaxed pieces that combine music with the movement of the body and the clatter of dancing feet.
